There are debates as to whether you really need to seal the grout or not.  Some people maintain that you do whilst others maintain that you don’t.  This is a decision you are going to have to make on your own.  If you decide to buy a grout sealer just make sure that it’s a good quality one and not just cheap and nasty.  Those who say not to bother cleaning the grout also say that you should simply give it a thorough clean every couple of years.

In addition to actually sealing the tiles you will also want to seal between the tiles and your bath or shower using a silicon sealant which you can buy in those cartridge guns.  They normally come in white but look out for other colors.
