I’ve been asked to let the owners of the Vine Store know what I think of their site. So here goes…

Stock

The Vine Store sells just about everything related to wine… except for wine that is. They’ve got a huge range of stock including a massive array of wine racks, coolers and glasses along with other accessories such as bags, labels and charms.

Website Design

The site is generally well laid out but I would comment that the text on the left hand navigation bar is too small. I find it difficult to read. What is good is that they are members of the BBB reliability program which will help with consumer confidence. They’ve also got 5 stars from Yahoo for “Top Service”. I’m not sure what that means, The Vine Store needs to elaborate a bit more on that – blow their own trumpet so to speak.

If you’re buying somebody a gift but aren’t sure what to buy them you could opt for a gift certificate. I would suggest that this is more heavily promoted because I read somewhere that many gift certificates are never used – which means they’ll be earning money for nothing.

I’m not sure why the “about us” and “info” pages are exactly the same. It would be nice to have a bit more info about who runs the site.

Overall it looks a pretty good site with lots of products you probably never knew existed.
